Every day Jay travels the length and breadth of Tokyo by taxi, looking for his daughter Lily. In the 9 years since he separated from his wife, he has never managed to gain custody of his daughter. Having lost hope of seeing her again, he is about to return to France when Lily jumps into his taxi. But she does not recognize him.
