Fortunately, Dexter; absolutely delivers

I read Lindsay’s excellent books a while back – Darkly Dreaming Dexter and Dearly Devoted Dexter – and when I heard they were going to be made into a series I was very excited. So much so, in fact, that I feared disappointment simply because my standards were so high. The show maintains the uncomfortable atmosphere of the novels more accurately than one might expect, and Dexter (played by Hall) is everything.
He’s a monster, but totally relatable
The visual elements of the show are stunning to say the least. Disturbing to be sure, but more than that, fascinating. It’s impossible not to meet Dexter while watching the show. 10 out of 10.
