Call Mickey Haller
Plot
Need a lawyer? He runs his law firm out of his Lincoln and is ready to step on the gas.
Moving across Los Angeles, he handles cases while balancing his personal life, which includes being a father and having two ex-wives
He originally teamed up with CBS to produce a series in 2020, but it was canceled just before filming the first episode due to Covid-19. The film has now been picked up by Netflix for a 10-episode first season based on Mickey Haller’s second book, The Brass Verdict.
Mentioned in Shrine of Telly: Week 3 (2022)
Mickey Haller has several cars, all with personalized California license plates and legal terms stamped on them. Personalized plates in California allow for a maximum of seven letters/numbers, but all of Mickey’s plates have at least eight.
Very enjoyable to watch
The plot is perhaps a little predictable, but not for the worse. A few twists and turns, as is typical for the genre.
I like the portrayal of the family and the dynamic of the work
For those who have seen the film, the series may seem a bit lighter in its message, but it remains engaging nonetheless… worth watching.
