Enchanted Agatha Harkness regains her freedom thanks to the help of a teenager. Intrigued by his request, she boards the Witches' Travel ordeals to regain her powers and discover the teenage girl’s motivation. The set was previously used for Wandavision. Agatha lives in the house used in the TV series Η μάγισσα (1964). Referenced in WatchMojo: Top 10 Most Shocking Disney Plus Day Reveals (2021). I came to Agatha All Along without any preconceived ideas or without any insight into the background of the story.
I felt cheated and resentful
So, it wasn’t until I dug deep and watched episode 6 (?) that I realized it had to do with the Marvel Cinematic Universe – specifically WandaVision. Well, after I got engaged to Agatha All Along, I put it on hiatus and had to watch WandaVission. While WandaVision has some critical elements as a backstory to Agatha All Along, it’s pretty tangential (and – IMO – a much weaker show than Agatha All Along). Well, I finished E6 and then moved on to E7-E9 and really had to surrender the show credit.

The acting is excellent in all aspects, with Hahn as Agatha a standout. The sets have an unusual, original perspective on how the series moves. Most of all, the trials the characters go through and their growth are well done. The show keeps an interesting story for adults, without the usual sugarcoating where everyone ends up well in the end.
And it doesn’t detract unduly from the entire show
