Plot
An agnostic sex podcaster and a newly single rabbi fall in love; find out if their relationship will survive their completely different lives and interfering families… The original name is “Shiksa”, which is also the last word spoken in the first episode…
It seemed natural and harmonious
Romantic comedies always follow the same formula, but this one has many strengths – + I FELT chemistry between the main characters. They played their characters so well!
+ Dialogues and relationships between characters turned out to be funny, witty and touching in the best sense
+ In a world that encourages representation, I saw the love interest of a Jewish man for the first time. I think that he demonstrated the beautiful and inclusive parts of religion, in no way put it on a pedestal.
An excellent script, a great cast and incredible chemistry made watching this movie a binge for me, followed by a quick search for “Will there be a season 2?”
