Plot
Do you need a lawyer? He’s wrapping up his law practice in Lincoln and is ready to step on the gas. As he travels around Los Angeles, he takes on cases while balancing his private life, which includes being a father and having two ex-wives. The series commitment was originally set with CBS for 2020, but was canceled shortly before the first episode was filmed due to COVID. . Now Netflix has picked it up for a 10-episode first season based on Mickey Haller’s second book, The Brass Verdict.

Mickey Haller has several cars, all with personalized California license plates with legal requirements. In California, personalized tags can have a maximum of seven letters/numbers, but all Mickey tags have a minimum of eight. Lincoln’s lawyer adapted the novel The Brass Verdict into a TV show for Netflix. It stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Becki Newton from How I Met Your Mother, Neve Campbell from Scream, Christopher Gorham, Angus Sampson from Insidious, Jazzu Raycole and Lana Parrilla from Once Upon a Time. in 2006, Michael Connelly published his first six-book novel based on Mickey Haller. in 2011, Connelly’s first book, The Lincoln Lawyer, will be adapted into a film.
Rulfo is charming and charming as Haller
A few years later, in 2022, Netflix released The Lincoln Lawyer TV show. This book is based on the second book in the series called The Brass Verdict. After the mysterious death of another lawyer, Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia Rulfo) inherits all his unfinished cases. In addition to having to learn about his own cases, he begins to investigate the sudden death of a colleague and at the same time tries to repair relationships in his personal life. It’s easy to see why The Lincoln Lawyer is such a hit on Netflix. All the plots and likable characters make the series interesting to watch.
He’s a great supporting character
He makes the audience and the court laugh with his one-liners. He has had substance abuse problems in the past, sympathizing with others in similar situations, so he hires Izzy Letts (Jazzu Raycole) to be his driver. They take care of each other and take responsibility to make sure they are both on the right track. Gorham does a great job portraying Trevor Elliott, a billionaire who plays the victim of his wife’s murder. Newton plays the positive and caring Lorna Crane, Haller’s secretary and friend. For all the people who help Haller, he hires a private investigator named Cisco.
Several storylines create interest in the show
Sampson works well with the team to ensure Haller’s success. Most episodes have a smaller case for Haller to win, but there’s also a big case for him to solve along with other plots. My verdict on The Lincoln Lawyer is that if you like legal dramas, you will love this show.
