Sawyer’s character was originally supposed to be an elderly, slippery, suit-wearing urban con artist from Buffalo, New York. However, when Josh Holloway forgot a line at an audition and then kicked a chair in frustration and cursed loudly, the writers liked the edginess he brought to Sawyer’s character and decided to write Sawyer as more of a Southern, darker bum.. Jin and Sun are married and they share the surname “Kwon”, which becomes an important plot point in the last season.

However, when Koreans get married, the wife never takes her husband’s surname. In fact, in Korea it’s not even allowed to marry someone with the same last name, except in rare cases.. [repeated line] Desmond Hume: See you in the other life, brother..

I even think that the finale now makes much more sense
Seeing it all again, some of the storylines made a lot more sense. That’s why I was completely blind the first time I watched “Staying alive”. It’s an amazing series that paved the way for the beautiful landscape of high-quality television we enjoy today.
