The Jackal drives a white Alfa Romeo Spider
Plot
The Jackal is an elusive hitman who makes his living by carrying out top dollar murders. He soon meets a hard-nosed British intelligence officer who tracks him down on a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe. In The Jackal (1973), the Jackal also drives a white Alfa Romeo, albeit an older model.
She comes across as a flirtatious, cold, know-it-all and selfish woman

It would be a great cat-and-mouse chase if the female lead were someone else, literally someone else. The way she portrays the detective makes the viewer, at least in this case, not want to root for her.
I don’t like her, nor do I hate her
Yes, she’s a cop and what she does is right, but the way she does it is terrible! For that reason, I believe many of us who watch the show will root for the Jackal. She is everything she is not, even though she is a murderer.
And I know I’m not the only one
I don’t want her to succeed in her mission and I don’t want the Jackal to be caught. I don’t think it should be that way, but that’s how I feel. It looks like she’s getting close to him.
And that’s a shame, because he’s great at it!
Unfortunately, if that happens, I’ll want to stop watching this show.
