Plot
The world’s most famous superhero and comic book’s most famous journalist navigate the pressures and complexities of balancing work, law, and parenthood in today’s society. The pilot episode pays homage to “Action Comics” #1 (Superman’s debut) by depicting the hero’s original Golden Age costume in live action for the first time. The famous green car from the cover is also featured.

Superman flies past the WB logo and transforms it into the DC Comics logo. Both logos are red and blue and are set on a farm in Kent. I would give seasons one and two a 9 out of 10, but only a 4 out of 10 for season three.
We finished season three a few days ago and were very disappointed
The cancer storyline dominated the entire season, which some people applauded, but made it unwatchable for others. There are several scenes in each episode where only cancer is mentioned and in some episodes you don’t even see Superman, or if you do it’s fleeting. However, we sat back and were relieved when Lex Luthor showed up towards the end of the series and he looked more like Superman again.
What a difference!
We finished season 3 and went right back to the beginning of season 1. Season 1 is so good; the action is superb, the effects are superb and the acting is superb. It’s like a completely different show.
We really hope season 4 goes back to the old Superman and Lois
As a family that has had cancer (like most) season 3 didn’t feel like Superman. It was very depressing at times and not the escape from the “real world” that we needed after a hard day at the office.
