One night, her father contacts her on an old radio
Plot
Haunted by the disappearance of her father 30 years ago, Stella returns to her hometown to take care of her sick mother. To get it back, Stella will have to travel through time by activating Taklee Genesis. There are many entertaining moments in this film, if you don’t take it too seriously.
As a result, the film is perceived as a more standard version of Steven Spielberg’s film “First Player Get Ready”
This is a science fiction detective story based on a time travel story that combines elements of drama, comedy, horror and fantasy. Sometimes it seems that the director has a catalog of scenes from the film, from which an element is randomly selected and included in the film. As a result, viewers can see an incredible variety of aliens, dinosaurs, spaceships, zombies, kaiju and much more that you would not expect to see.
As in many films about time travel, it is difficult to avoid plot holes
There are many of them in this film, but in the dialogues they are often downplayed with phrases like “Everything is fine”, “Don’t worry” or “Everything will be fine”. Although the cast seems to be trying their best, the acting remains another weakness of this film. At first, the British father spoke as if he was writing down a chapter in English for elementary school listening.
Mother didn’t even shed a single tear when Velan disappeared
The funniest character of all was Mordin, the silent survivor who saves the day when everyone else despairs. Overall, we give the Taklee Genesis a solid seven out of ten. We watched the original version with English subtitles in the cinema.
