Plot
Avril, a young lawyer specializing in animal protection, goes to great lengths to save her client, a recidivist dog, from the death penalty. This dog helps Avril accept her own human complexity. During development, Leticia Dosch met Justine Triet, who told her that she was making Anatomija pada (2023), a film about a trial involving a dog and a visually impaired person, with a female lead. The similarities almost led Dosch to abandon the project.
